LunVouchers™ was created in support of providing Foster
Care Kids and Inner City Students with clothes vouchers and tutoring services.
We are seeking to provide 300 Foster Care Kids and Inner City Students with
clothes vouchers and tutoring services year round. We are looking to raise more
than $190,000 in order to provide each child the opportunity to feel good about
their self-esteem while getting assistance from trained tutors in pursuit of
academic development. The $190,000 will be equally divided among 300
participants in the program. Yearly expense allocation for each child is
$316.50 for clothes and $316.50 tutoring.
Facts
- There's a direct link between absences and academic
performance(Orlando Sentinel, 2013).
- Struggling learners are more likely to drop out of high
school.
- Foster care kids receives a monthly stipend not enough
for clothes purchase.

Our purpose is to assist
foster care parents and inner city public schools by providing clothes vouchers
and tutoring services year round.
Mission
Our mission is to assess
the needs of foster care kids while bringing trained tutors as an intervention
measure in order to increase academic performance and decrease high school
dropouts for inner city students.
Vision
To ensure that every
foster care kids and inner city students will graduate high schools and
successful compete in the marketplace.
Goals
- To provide each student the opportunity to work one on
one with a trained tutor.
- To make sure that students attends school on a daily
basis, and absences are not a direct result of not having one of the basic
necessities, clothes.
